About Us

The University Store is located on the lower level of the Ceddia Union Building (CUB) on the east side of campus. We are a part of Shippensburg University, Student Services, Inc., a nonprofit Corporation located and incorporated in Shippensburg, PA. Revenue is generated from the sale of textbooks, supplies, clothing, and gifts to the student body, faculty, staff, and campus community. This revenue is then used for funding clubs, organizations, and student activities under the direct supervision of the Student Association. Since the store is student owned, we welcome your comments and suggestions. We hope you will take advantage of the goods and services provided by your University Store. 

Our Mission

The University Store is the institutionally owned on-campus provider of services for Shippensburg University. We are committed to exceeding the service expectations of our customers through our operational procedures, merchandise assortment, and availability of new and used textbooks at competitive prices. We will strive to offer quality merchandise, in a timely manner, as well as provide services that enhance the ability of our students to achieve their educational goals. By excercising fiscal responsibility and operational efficiency, we generate a positive return to the Student Association for funding of clubs, organizations and activities.

Directions

From Pennsylvania Turnpike: Exit at Blue Mountain Interchange. Turn left and follow this  route to Newburg. Turn left at stop sign, go a very short distance and turn right onto 696. Follow this route to the University (9 7/10 miles from interchange). To enter campus, turn left on Lancaster Drive. Follow this road until you come to the Ceddia Union Building which is located on the right. The University Store is located on the lower level of the C.U.B.

From I-81 South: Take exit 29 and turn right onto Route 174. Go 1 1/2 miles to second traffic light and turn left onto King Street (US Route 11). Go to the third traffic light and turn right onto Prince Street. Follow this road to campus. Turn right onto Adams Drive and follow this to Cumberland Drive. Turn left, The Ceddia Union Building is the second building on the left and the University Store is located on the lower level.

 

 

From I-81 North: Take exit 24 and turn left onto 696. Follow this road for 2 miles to the stop sign and turn left onto Fayette Street. Go to second traffic light and turn right onto King Street (US Route 11). Go to the third traffic light and turn left onto Prince Street. This will take you to campus. As you enter campus, turn right onto Adams Drive and follow this to Cumberland Drive. Turn left, the Ceddia Union Building is the second building on the left and the University Store is located on the lower level.
